The Township Trustee Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Crosby Township Senior/Community Center located at 8910 Willey Road, 45030. Call 738-1440 for more information.

Jim Niehaus, President, has served the residents of Crosby Township since 2005.  He has lived in the township for over 45 years and takes pride in our beautiful community.  Jim oversees the Maintenance Department. 


Doug Lohman is serving his first term as a Crosby Township Trustee. A local resident, Doug has owned and operated Lohman’s Feed Store & Garden Center for 24 years. He looks forward to serving the great people of our community.



Dennis A. Heyob has been a Crosby resident for 53 years. He is a life-long farmer who received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy from Ohio State University. He has served on the Zoning Appeals and Zoning Commission Boards for a total of 32 years. He is looking forward to a year of service in our community and will oversee the Zoning Department.

The following events have been re-scheduled for 2021.  In the event of any unforeseen re-scheduling, please check back to this website periodically.


Crosby Clean Up is re-scheduled for May 1 & 2 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Crosby Community Center Parking Lot located at 8910 Willey Road for Crosby township residents.


Stricker’s Grove “Crosby Day” has been re-scheduled for May 16 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.


Memorial Day Parade and Service has been scheduled for Sunday, May 30 at 2:00 pm.








Crosby Township is again making a wonderful Christmas possible for children in need of a little extra “Santa” help. The Kringle Chest fund is supported by local businesses and friends to meet the needs of families identified by Crosby School. If you would like to contribute, contact the Community Center at 513-738-1440.

The Crosby Township Kringle Chest Children’s Christmas Benefit would like to thank Nutrien for their Grant Award in the amount of $2,000.  Nutrien has continued to support the community of Crosby, and we are all very grateful.  Many families will benefit from their generosity!

The Crosby Township Zoning Commission will meet on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 7:00 P.M. at the Crosby Township Senior/Community Center, 8910 Willey Road, New Haven to continue reviewing the Land Use Plan.

The Crosby Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 29th day of April 2021, at 7:00 P.M. at the Crosby Township Senior/Community Center, 8910 Willey Road, New Haven on the application for a major adjustment to the Fort Scott PUDDevelopment Planto lower the density from condominiums to 119 single family lots. The owner is Crosby Development LLC and the applicant is Sedona Reserves LLC. The property is on Blue Rock Road, Tax Parcel ID#530-0040-0263-00.


Cathy Deters, from Energy Alliances, reported that a great number of residents for the program will begin saving energy dollars as of the June meter reading dates. Dynegy has stated that of the 855 letters sent out 740 enrolled as customers with 115 opting out. Please keep in mind that if a new resident or someone moves to another location within the township, they are able to enroll. Opt out letters will be sent out about 6 months from now to capture some of the folks that expire with other suppliers. If you would like to enroll at this time, please contact Cathy Deters, Director of Sales, at 513-794-5555.



Fire Chief Jason Davis is accepting applications for employment at the Crosby Fire Department. The applications are available at the Crosby Fire Department at 9139 Baughman Road in New Haven. You may also 513-738-1831 for more information.






The Crosby Township Historical Society Board members will meet monthly in 2021 to conduct Society business. The regular membership meetings are cancelled until further notice. The Society board will participate at Crosby Township Day at Strickers Grove, Sunday May 16 from 1 to 8. We will have items displayed and sell tickets for our lottery tree. We will also participate in the Memorial Day Parade as usual on Sunday, May 30. We will have books to sell and bottled water to pass out at the Old Town Hall.
