Crosby Township Awarded Grant for Shelter and Ball Park. The State of Ohio, through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, administers financial assistance for public recreation purposes, through the State of Ohio NatureWorks Program. Crosby Township has been awarded a $42,000 grant through this program for the purpose of building a ball field and a shelter on the property located at 8910 Willey Road.
The Township would like to thank Kim Downey, Community Coordinator and Jennifer Vatter of JMA Consultants for preparing the information, completing and filing the application for this grant. The Trustees hope to have these facilities open and ready for use by their community in the Summer of 2008. UPDATEBids will be accepted at the Senior Center, 8910 Willey Rd, on April 28 from 5-7 PM for all labor, materials and equipment to complete the project known as Crosby Township Park.
